Walls of Jerusalem

Since I'm auditing the course, I didn't have to write an exam this morning. Instead, I walked around the old city for a bit before heading to JUC for class at 10. Our class was a quick overview of Judah's territory and the 4 regions it encompasses -the hill country, wilderness, Shephelah, and Negev. Only the hill country and wilderness were under constant Judean control. We spent a while discussing the geology of each of these areas, as well as the major towns and roads bisection the region in preparation for our three day trip to the south.

I spent the afternoon walking the walls of the Old City enjoying the view, and on my way back, found an awesome little bakery in the Jewish section! We ended up not going out in the evening as we originally had planned, instead, going to bed early in preparation for the early start the next day.
