After church in the morning, my parents picked me up and I went over to their place for lunch. Then it was off to the airport for my 5 pm flight - thankfully, direct! The only unusual part was that before getting to the gate, they swabbed our bags and hands to test for something - I assume explosives? The flight was packed - only 1 empty seat in the whole plane! But I have GOT to learn how to sleep on planes ... 11 hours, overnight, and I was only able to doze off for a few minutes.
